Chris I love the detail work, especially the peas and carrots and the martini glass. The yellow repetitions of line on the right side of the buttered mashed potatoes is especially nice. I think that attention to detail, highlighting different parts of different trays would look fantastic!
I also think its great you tried something new and took a theme you have been working on, and applied an entirely new approach as a reaction to the reading.
Keepin it classy with the beverage and glass! Great use of colors and unifying it throughout. These are simplistic images, similar to the meals. I like the sectioned off areas as well as colors. It gives it a color wheel feel!
